There are many things we do atthat we take immense pride in, although you won’t find us being that body that loudly blows our own trumpet of accomplishment.
Our focus is on making lives better not just for our clients by increasingopportunities and securing their financial futures, but also supporting our local community. It’s something we all feel a great sense of responsibility towards as happiness comes not just in long term futures but also the immediate short term.
With that in mind, a team from Haven IFA will be giving their support to St Ann’s Hospice’s Christmas Tree Collection throughout January 2021. With the Coronavirus pandemic affecting many throughout 2020, we aim to raise funds to support their invaluable work for the community.
Since 1971, St Ann’s Hospice is one of the oldest and largest hospices in the North West, providing care and support to those living with and affected by life-threatening illnesses throughout Greater Manchester via operating three centres.
Speaking on last year’s Christmas Tree Collection, Finance Director Nick Dando said “It was a fun but gratifying day, and it was great to be involved in raising money for such a worthwhile cause. My thanks go to the organisers for keeping workers fed, watered and organising the routes. I will definitely be volunteering again next year as word of the service spreads.”
We at Haven IFA are proud to be associated with this worthwhile cause for a number of years ongoing and are very proud to be doing it once again this January.
January 15th 2021 will see team members Nick, Paul, Graham and Mike out collecting Christmas Trees so be sure to book your collection in return for a donation before January 10th!
With an astonishing total of £33,000 raised last year alone, we aim to help surpass that figure for 2021!
