Over 35 years’ experience in financial services Sue advises in all areas of Financial Planning including protection, taxation, investments, and pensions (inc. final salary/defined arrangements.)

Sue joined Haven following a successful career at Lloyds Banking Group. Originally joining the Halifax Building Society in 1984 as a mortgage adviser she then became one of their first Independent Financial Advisers. Sue progressed to manage an area of financial advisers, a region, and this culminated with a National role responsible for the recruitment and training of advisers ensuring their competence and professionalism. 

Sue loves to provide her clients with clear and transparent advice feeling that it is important that she enables her clients to make well informed and thought-through decisions. Receiving many recommendations from her existing clients since joining Haven, Sue has enjoyed building relationships with many new clients looking for straight forward and understandable advice.

A member of both the London Institute of Banking and Finance and the CII, Sue holds the Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers, having taken advanced exams in Financial Planning and a Level 7 Pg. Cert in Professional Banking Practice. 

Sue is married to Paul and, outside of working with her clients, their 3 children and 2 dogs certainly keep her occupied! She also has a love of Anglesey and, when time allows, she finds the warmth of the sun in Portugal and the bracing Atlantic sea provide a welcome break!
